Transport for Persons with Reduced Mobility (PRM)

The Agglo is committed to improving the accessibility of the CABUS network to Persons with Reduced Mobility (PRM).
It offers solutions such as adapted buses on urban lines. In fact, all the buses of the urban transport authority are equipped with an access ramp and an interior layout allowing the transport of a person in a wheelchair. Raised platforms at stops (for example at the Robert-Pax hospital) facilitate bus access for people with reduced mobility.

For people whose travel difficulties no longer allow access to the classic CABUS network, there is a specialized door-to-door transport service by reservation.
To be able to use this adapted service, you must first submit a registration file including:
– an information sheet (available in download here)
– a medical certificate establishing the link between the person's state of health and their mobility problems. This certificate must be placed in a sealed envelope for the attention of the doctor of the TPMR access commission. The file must be sent or submitted to the Community of Agglomeration – Transport department.

Departure and Terminus

Bus station

The Sarreguemines bus station is an essential piece of equipment in the Cabus transport network.
It is the departure and the terminus of the majority of the regular lines organized by the Agglomeration Community or the Grand Est Region.
Equipped with 16 platforms that meet standards for people with reduced mobility, the bus station is part of the Multimodal Exchange Center developed in 2015 in cooperation with the City of Sarreguemines and the SNCF. Since that date, it has been operated directly by the Agglomeration Community.
The Cabus buses assigned to the main lines of the City of Sarreguemines also serve this central connection node and offer users solutions for getting to the industrial and commercial areas and the Robert-Pax hospital, in particular.
The Sarreguemines bus station is therefore at the heart of community travel.

Bus
Bus station

A large flow of users and schoolchildren pass through the bus station every day, where connections between lines are also made, allowing students in particular to reach their establishments.
During the school term, there are thus 160 vehicle departures per day.
