Collection of abandoned or stray animals
The animal pound is a structure where abandoned or stray animals on the public highway are collected.
The pound is a public service and the capture of stray dogs is ensured by an intervention team of agents from the Agglomeration Community trained for this purpose. It has a vehicle equipped for this purpose. Stray animals are dropped off at the Sarreguemines Animal Protection Society.
The mayors retain special police power relating to the wandering of animals and ensure the management of animals other than dogs.

- SPA: open to the public from 14:30 p.m. to 17:30 p.m. every day except Thursday. For other slots, make an appointment on 03 87 98 82 63.
- Service capturing stray dogs only: contact the Agglo on 03 87 28 30 30 during public reception hours, otherwise the town hall on which the wandering is noted, the police, the gendarmerie or the firefighters who will relay to the capture service.
- Impoundment rates are:
- 70 € for a dog
- 45 € for a cat
